Hutzu Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Hi there, I just bought a 3.0 04 engine alphard and is pulling ok, has power doesn't burn oil and is not bad on petrol, but once ived open the oil cap looks like is a hard crust of dry oil there, oil on deep stick looks ok, a bit over the limit... what should I do?! Any ideas? ! Decarb, seafoam, clean egr/ pvc, MAF...?! With many thanks in advance
MonsterS Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 That's normal mine does the same. If it aint broke dont fix hit. However I change the oil every 6 months with decent brand oil and every 8 - 10 fill ups but a full tank of premium fuel in. If you are worried use lucas fuel cleaner. Ran that in my estima and done wonders for it.
Hutzu Posted September 7, 2019 Author Posted September 7, 2019 Should we consider this then?! Not sure if fits tho, and if available in uk...?!

MonsterS Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 its does for the 3L at least that what i can see, the RX300 engine is the same for my alphard. https://www.valvomax.com Shipping is $23 and the part is $35 so not bad.
