How many cats are on the Alphard 3.0L?

I believe the Elgrands have 4 and most owners remove the back 2 early on to stop problems that can affect the ones situated at the front - do the Alphards have a similar set up?

Hi there is 2 cats one at front and one at rear with the cat thefts going on im going to have the rear one removed and have a through pipe put on .the front one hard to get to .

For a reason I am unaware of, the Hybrid versions seem to be the main target.

Will you have to reinstall the rear cat for the next MOT ?

I work for a local motor factor's who specialises in jap imports we having lots of regular trade customers requesting replacement cats that have been stolen we already do replacement cats for petrol bongos and elgrand e51 . I have been informed as long as I leave the front cat in place it will pass the mot fine this the case with the elgrand e51 which has 4 cats we sell the decat kits for the e51 elgrand . Once mine is done we will get the through pipes made for the 3.0 alphard

Good to know. Thanks Picasso. Please advise the Forum when Alphie V6 through rear pipes are available, and at what cost
