willS
I have a hybrid 2004/2005 Alphard. On the V5C Log book, it just says Petrol. Does not say Hybrid or Electric on the fuel type and has nothing where the CO2 emissions should be. Has anyone else overcome this problem, had their log book changed so the car is exempt from the ULEZ charge, as it should be. PaulE
Hi, I'm not sure you can or need to go through changing your log book- it doesn't register on your log book as a hybrid as the DVLA apparently only fills in the gaps if there is a European equivalent vehicle. Have you simply tried putting your reg. no. in the .gov website Drive in a clean air zone - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) covers all current charging zones nationwide or the TFL website Check your vehicle (tfl.gov.uk) Chances are you are you may be exempt except the charging area in central London. Try this first before going down a complicated route.

I agree with Paul above; but I do have a vague recollection that Aphards up to 2005 aren't in the system. And getting yours certified by having it tested, and then recognised (or not) by DVLA, is quite a hassle. I hope I am wrong. Other members who have been through this process will advise you, I am sure.
gary49
My log book says the same ,I have just checked my reg at GOV.UK (drive-clean-air-zone.service.gov.uk) and it is exempt from all charges in all zones.

I can't find anywhere that will do a rolling emmissions test that is recognised by the DVLA?

As I said, it is a hassle, and some owners just give up I put your registration into TfL ULEZ checker and, unfortunately, the vehicle is chargeable. Nikky Evans
Same with ours - 2005. Charged in Birmingham and Bristol and London. Someone said that maybe contacting Toyota but I expect if that had been done, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Ours also says 0 on the emissions. First MOT for us later this year so maybe I'll ask them!

Thanks Paul, unfortunately I live in London and at present my Hybrid Alphard has to pay ULEZ, so it appears that I need to find somehwere thwqt the DVLA recognises to do rolling emissions test, then take the results to the DVLA and have them enter the CO2 emissions on the Log Book. The problem is finding a centre that does a rolling emissions test. I've looked and can't seem to find one. So, any help would be hugely appreciated.
