Hello , my first time posting on this site. Ive received great tips and advise so far from other forum topics so thank you very much for that.

First tip was to get a code reader for my 2004 Hybrid. I purchased and iCarsoft i905 and it works perfectly well.

This reader has identified a fault code C1377 capacitor. Yellow brake warning light illuminated.

I wondered if any one else has had any issues with this fault.

My battery ran down twice during lockdown and I wondered if this has caused the issue. Ive spoke to a mechanic at Scottish campers Grangemouth and without seeing the wagon yet has told me a new capacitor costs 1000 pounds from Japan..... cough... cough.

Any help or advise most welcome.

Ouch!

Did you do a full reset on the hybrid first. I've not got one but there was been a thread on facebook about having to do a full ecu reset on hybrid's once the batteries go flat.
