Can anyone recommend insurance for imported Alphard. It seems that when you reach 70, insurers don't want to insure imported vehicles. Seems extremely unfair to me. Any ideas folks please?

Hi I’m 70+ that hasn’t caused a problem main one is a number of underwriters database don’t have the 2.4l which I have & my postcode 

the best so far is direct but that’s over £700

Hi ALL.Thank goodness i joined this forum, i have been looking at Alphard's for a couple of weeks on e/bay but decided to see about importing one myself,so joined Alphard forum and asked about importing ,but on site saw question about insurance as i am over 70years called Mark Richards this morning to discover that they now will not insure anybody over 70 ,and after speaking to other company's that also said no i have given up the idea of a import,thanks again for this forum, graham.

Hi I’m over 70yrs live under a Liverpool postcode but after many refusals because of age & other quoting high £800’s I spoke to Keith Michaels plc who are on this website &quoted £650 job done
