I've just answered my own last post really. None of the switches in my centre consol or the door switches to the right were lit. So following the vid on youtube I popped the centre out and checked the bulbs in the denso control box. They were all dead. It was lucky that the passenger belt light used the same bulb so I was able to confirm it was bulb and nothing more sinister. 

I checked the local shops but couldn't find any so sent some pics with sizes to Craig at Auto-leds.Co. UK (through ebay) and within a couple of days I had led replacements fitted. Cant recommend the service highly enough so if you need bulbs try him.. Replacements were 10mm SMD LED T4.2 Neo Wedge.. 

Oh and ps, I've got some 8mm varients coming for the door switches.
