Chill Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 My 2007 Alphard is reporting a C1244 - 'open or short in deceleration sensor' diagnostic via a Techstream unit. Have tried replacing the sensor but same error. Anyone had this problem before? My next step is to check wiring from sensor to ECU but need to find the location of the ECU and possibly pinouts. Any information to resovle this would much appreciated.
MonsterS Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Have you checked both pedal sensor and the other sensor on the throttle aseembly?
Chill Posted January 17, 2021 Author Posted January 17, 2021 I have just checked to connector to the sensor. Three wires, red, black(white stripes) and white (black stripes). They are all open ciruit (non was connected to ground and infinite resistance). I expect the black to be ground and red at +5V but they are not connected even with the ignition ON. Can anyone tell me where the other end of the cable is connected to? In the mean while I will check the other sensors on the throttle body as suggested. Thanks in advance.
