Hi can any one tell me what the small mirror (with two small mirrors) on the front near side wing is used for. I have tried to set it up but cannot figure how to use it. Thanks

It's a blind spot mirror, front view & curb view.

As Stutsy says, blind spot mirror.

Front bumper, and nearside curb.

 

Let me know if your eyesight is good enough to use it.

My eyesight is not 40 / 40 !

its pretty useless, but also a legal requirement for vehicles over a certain size in Japan - they probably fitted the smallest permissable in order to not have some audacious monstrosity hanging from the fender
