Green light on dash has appeared

Hey 👋 hope your all well.

does anyone know what this warning light it for and why it would be on. 
it just appeared. No running issues or faults from what I can see.

The symbol is for your side looking (peep and creep) front camera.

 

It is switchable from the steering wheel and the head unit.

 

However, I don't recall ever seeing mine light up !

 

Is it green or yellow ?

 

I suggest you clean the front lenses.

Hi Rojie, thank you for your response. 
It’s difficult to tell if it’s green or yellow tbh. 
I also don’t think I have a front camera, only rear and it’s after market and fitted by the number plate.

Do you have the symbol on your steering wheel ?

 

The camera, if you have one is in the middle of the grill, just under the bonnet opening.

A slight pointed, but rounded, projection. Only about a cubic inch.
