Suspension upgrades

Good evening all, my question is - What suspension upgrades are Alphard owners making to compensate the camper conversion?

I'd like to reduce body roll without fitting coilovers and compromising the ride quality/usability. Has anyone fitted bigger anti roll bars? Strut braces? If so I'd love to know how you got on and where you bought them from? I can't seem to find any of these components for sale in the UK for the AH10.

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Picasso,

Thank you so much. I've seen these on eBay, £180 though! I think this will be a really good option.

Do you have any leads on anti roll bars? What do you hear of other people doing to their suspension to improve the handling? JP.

When I bought my alphard 2 years ago it was lowered which I did not know I had a front shock go on it which turned out to be coil overs so I decided to everything back to standard so I had a hole new suspension fitted and had heavy duty springs fitted It now drives great handles amazing cost me £1200 just for parts best money spent

Good evening,

I wanted to reply with an update. Yesterday I had the upgraded heavy duty rear springs fitted (£180 eBay) and I'm over the moon. They haven't lowered the ride height and dramatically improved the handling. I'm no longer getting excessive body roll, it drives so much better. Highly recommend for any Alphard owner who has a camper conversion and who's suffering from sea sickness!
