Hi ,

I just bought a 2003 Toyota Alphard and need a bike rack for the rear door. Any advice for manufacturers and fitters? I've seen a Toyota Alphard camper van on ebay with a Fiamma bike rack, but there were no details about know which one it was, and as yet not found a supplier or fitter who can advise me?

I'm in Edinburgh so somewhere reasonably located would be brilliant.

Cheers Iain

Hi Ian,

might be worth giving Calder Campers, Livingstone a call, as they seem to know most suppliers of most things for the Alphard. Be interested to know, as we may be in the market for one next year..

Good luck.

If you fit a tow bar, which could be handy anyway, then you could chose from any number of tow bar fixed bike racks. In my experience these tend to be more stable and sturdier than the door fixed ones too.

I have had a towbar fitted to my Vellfire camper van so just bought a bike rack that simply clamps onto towing ball no straps screwing things to van and holds 3 bikes best £30 I have spent
