Eona
Hiya I run a charity in Glasgow and we have our Alphard for getting the young people we support around the west of Scotland. I have lost the only key that we had and no-one seems to be able to help me find a replacement because of its import status - can anyone here help? Truly stuck ... THANKS! Eona , Hello Eona, Welcome to the Forum. I am very sorry to hear of your plight. How long have you have the vehicle for ? Consider contacting the seller or previous owner for help; they may even have an illicit spare. Are you able to get into the vehicle ? I assume you do not have a smart key either. Getting a blank ignition / door key is relatively easy; you need one with the 4D67 chip inside. They are quite inexpensive. However you will need a master key to get the blank cut, and probably an Automotive Locksmith to programme it. It's a long shot, I suggest you contact cuttothechase on his Youtube Channel. (Or Ldrego on this forum). He is local to you and may have some useful contacts. Try and be patient, I will notify my colleagues, and hope they can help you quickly. Will get back to you. I assume that an ignition barrel and key combination can be purchased

Are you locked out of the vehicle, or just cannot start it ? Is it at your home, or stranded somewhere? Have you spoken with your local Toyota Dealer ? Most official Toyota dealers will not work on a grey import, which you have; but it is always worth a try. Did you write to cuttothechase on Youube ? I believe he knows the Glasgow / Edinburgh area well. He is very much a 'do it yourself' guy, but may know the local infrastructure.

Eona
It's fixed! Took loads of calls and connections, involving people from Glasgow, Stirling and Fife but the charity Alphard is back on the road. Thank you to everyone who tried to help. Eona
