Thanks. is it a big job to replace them and any ideas of likely costs please? thanks everyone
Picasso Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Hello james they are call rear axle subframe bushes check this link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384959399890?itmmeta=01J5NDWZ4RA2EWQB8ZYJEW6YZZ&hash=item59a15e47d2:g:6IAAAOSwvdxdHx-a labour wise its about 4 hour job they have to drop the rear subframe your looking about £300 labour cost then + price of parts
James Posted August 19 Author Posted August 19 Thank you Picasso that is very helpful and much appreciated. James
James Posted August 19 Author Posted August 19 Are there similar for the front and beneath on the rear axle?
James Posted August 19 Author Posted August 19 Yes thank you but I have a similar problem at the front. I think this might be a picture from the front? is there a complete kit for all the bushes as I suspect all may be equally ‘unwell’! thanks again.
Picasso Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Front arm bushes be quicker and cheaper to replace the complete arms as the bushes need to be pressed out check these two links https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384959839141?fits=Car+Make%3AToyota|Model%3AAlphard&_nkw=toyota+alphard+suspension&itmmeta=01J5Q4VE39SQDZGMK76PVZJ8N2&hash=item59a164fba5:g:ldMAAOSwznZh4Zx3&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKkwSC05juHoDZvSp8sbw%2Bgx0S%2FyEKSUADbheupBNXDVnwm9RF6Ugvps9Eckhd54x%2BZ%2FuEijdA7Og4CEa53M0wO1aHzoLPG5vsdLkd4ji5bMdbg17m%2Fs2bijUPsxcwEE5%2FbjkLu8mZEOQJFkvw5KD1aEI4GjXbFxe7PUo8odxXHbmxvydqnX8r8vqq%2FNYsyObvQ6r5DjPA5YDv97xBswZJi52sNQFqWtdT4jaE9JtoXdT%2BJb6471vhVGKOPKpORtaFQ%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR9zh7eStZA https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384959839118?fits=Car+Make%3AToyota|Model%3AAlphard&_nkw=toyota+alphard+suspension&itmmeta=01J5Q4VE39BG4AV1AYDPZPG06Y&hash=item59a164fb8e:g:rFkAAOSwf75h4ZsQ&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnOvnG140AHlxbuVCMnhzOJRjgzlUofDqMUnx0K%2BSYXi%2B1Z%2FMpiY9nld3AQn2OIUq9apTjel7Jgy249PJTQcEBfi3%2FWXjK8vLz0xKgXpr0NOgMHfRvKviLrDFVfmFIC%2FqvbHKAs6b2tnS5d%2FW0w8kPn%2BVWvSuov9ZH9p506Qpfoe1FVi6ELjGIcDdlhNw8vAtOzLqDGttYE53cDDV7rnWSYFZKgn0xMBd%2BGnoCh84MI532Z2qMDEyegoazx6lVjZPk%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR97h7eStZA Looking back at the rear bushes who ever been doing your mot for the last couple years has not been doing very good at there job at it them bushes have been ain a very bad way for more than 12 months
James Posted August 20 Author Posted August 20 Looking up the parts it ask me if my hybrid is 96KW or 117KW. I have looked through my papers but can’t find out which it is. How can I find out the model please
Jeza Posted August 20 Posted August 20 All early 10 series hybrids are 96kw at 5600rpm. (109kw including the hybrid motors)
MonsterS Posted August 22 Posted August 22 They will need a forklift to remove the axel. Mind was done within 2 hours. A good mechanic will do it quickly.
James Posted August 22 Author Posted August 22 Please does anyone have a link to source front and rear brake pads and fitting kits for my 54 plate 4WD 2.4 hybrid Alphard? have looked on eBay but not sure which are good ones or the right fitting kits! Thanks
