Hi all,

I just picked up my 2007 Alphard yesterday, so forgive the newbie question! I don't get any display on the dash to tell me when I'm on dipped main beam. Full beam shows a display, and when I'm on sidelights I get a green display. Any ideas please?

Secondly, what is the 'auto' light setting for?

And lastly, the pics below show sidelights, dipped main beam, and full beam. But, does this look right? It looks to me like sidelights and dipped beam should be at the extreme sides of the car, rather than the 'middle' - seems odd to me.

Many thanks

Hello  Adrian

The Auto light setting will turn on your lights automatically. It has to get pretty dark for that to happen, or they turn on going through a tunnel

Ah, cheers Michael, that explains that then thank you (I did try auto mode on the drive home but was expecting sidelights to come on too ☺️)

I don't think I will either. Seemed good in theory only...
