The club is undergoing a big upgrade at the moment, there may be a few things not quite right for a day or two.

Looking at buying a 3.5 Alphard. Does the vx report from Japan normally cost around the £18 mark..also where would you find a handbook in English for 2009 Alphard 350s. Bound to be more questions as I progress, promise to search the forum beforehand. Great owners club buy the way, very informative. Hope to be on the road by the end of the month. Thanks all...

Thanks Picasso, and thanks for the information on the handbook.. I own a Viano at the moment, put down a deposit on a 2009 3.5 earlier this week, beautiful van, just waiting for it to clear DVLA to finalise. Read the really informative buyers guide on this website and will follow up on a few more checks next week. Would you know if the Japanese vx report is a standard charge of £18..? Definitely would be worth a read...

that i dont know as i bought mine direct from the dealer if i was you change your profile to the alphard your buying as it will help members give you right answers

Hi David!

Jolly good decision, I hope you'll like it as much as I'm liking mine so far, we've only had it just under 2 months!

Already been tempted by many aliexpress goodies !!

Yes. the VX report is in the region of £18 to £19 depending on the exchange rate on the day.

I also meant to say the handbook is very much worth the investment, takes tbe guesswork out of a lot of little functions !! And some bigger ones too!

I bought my book around May / June, finally got a car at the back end of November, we were very hopeful on what model Alphard / Vellfire we wanted!! 🤣
