My Alphard Insurance is going up to £343 fully comp. That's with Aviva. Anyone know who might provide a better deal?

There is nothing wrong with that. I pay just over £3,000. with Aviva. last year it was £4,200 with Aviva. Having 2 Estima's written off and the insurance did not want to repair them did not help

Very reasonable.

I was with Aviva until I had my van converted.

Thanks Roger, Aviva have increased the Alphard premium from last years premium of £270. I suspect they have checked Speed Awareness records as I was caught out by the Roseworthy Dip Cornwall camera in September 24. (two weeks short of 50 years of blemish free driving) but the online course was good.

I am not sure about Speed Awareness, but £270 was a bargain, believe me.

I believe I am still with Aviva on the others and my premium increased by £30 !

Having said that, and Michael is an exceptional case, many other members are unhappy about the (exceptional) increases they have experienced with other Insurers.

There are many cameras on the road from Plymouth to Penzance.

Dorset is a great place, next time you head to Cornwall take a leisurely drive to Sennen or Kynance.

Both are very beautiful but in different ways.

I lived in West Cornwall for a few years. God's country in summer, not quite so in winter.

Bargain!

Obviously though, run it through the comparison sites, some don't know what an Alphie is, or Vellfire, but some do. Follow the order advised by martin Lewis - Money Saving Expert.

We ended up with Admiral, from Confused.com, when we bought it, for our first year insurance, as our (current at that time) car insurer eSure (who were garbage as an "on line only" company) "didn't insure imports" so couldn't do a vehicle change. Hopefully, as is common, the longer you have a vehicle it counts as a minor positive score.
