Can anyone recommend a good insurance company. Am just buying an Alphard and looking for quotes.
thanks

Colin.

Hi Colin,

Welcome to the Forum.

Aviva.

Try to avoid using comparison websites; pick a few and call them direct; many don't recognise the Alphie as it is a JDM import.

There is a whole section on Insurance Companies within this forum.

Good Luck.

Guide price ? £500 depending on driving record, etc.

Ok thanks. I’ll take a look.

Confused.com did recognise the Alphard / Vellfire models, and got me a "good" price with Admiral insurance.

But absolutely positively definitely shop around!

Same here... I was recommended JapCover by the dealer I bought from, but they couldn't get anywhere near the Admiral group prices- went with Elephant in the end.

Also point to note, they captured the car and the spec perfectly so that was the key thing for me to look for!

I also second using Admiral, I ended up paying around 300 for my Alphard 2.5 in April. The price the lowered again with second car discount when I added my other car to the policy a few months later.
