Ben23 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 My V5C/logbook claims that my Alphard has 9 seats - of course it has 8. Should I try to get it changed, or doesn't it matter?

Perhaps ask your insurance company ? Do they care; as long as they know what it is and hasn't been modified.

John Harrison Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I went from a 7 seater Chrysler Voyager to an 8 seater Vellfire. Its that extra seat that puts up the insurance. I was told by two insurance companies!!! Jon Harrsion. Wallasey, Wirral
Gamith Posted February 4 Posted February 4 So, as I have taken out the third row, and we are using it as a van can I say it's a 5-seater?
smurf Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I'm fairly certain that it is as easy as putting the new numbers of seats in the relevant box on your V5 and sending it in for updating.
