Recent mot advisory for rear axle bushes. I found the cost and quality variable. My mechanic showed me his supplier and the cost was over £200 , but there was no available parts.  So I remembered using a Japanese supplier megazip.com. Within 10 minutes I’d ordered part and even with fast tracking it came to less than £115. They were brilliant checking that the genuine Toyota parts were suitable for my Alphard.  My mechanic told me that some parts were not always too quality from some online sites.

I use amayama to find a part and then trawl autodoc, ebay and others to find equivalent parts, though it must be said I am trying to avoid non-original parts.

Depending on the part there are also Alphards being scrapped, so that's another route.

You can also contact your local Toyota dealer to see whether they can help, though they can be expensive and take time - you never know, you might get lucky.

Be very careful what you buy on eBay I replaced mine last October paid £45 for a pair £250 labour to fit they failed again about a month ago they was worse than the ones taken off first time there are lots of cheap Chinese ones on eBay they won’t last I bought my replacements from my local supplier about £85 apair they are like the original Toyota ones so far better quality and stronger
