Hi all is a thing with Alphard owners that they wave when passing or just a one off when I was waved at today by another owner ?

Hi there!

We have waved to  a few fellow Alphard owners, and been greeted in return!

Let's start a tradition! Even to other Japanese 7 seater models, why not?

Very many moons ago, us Impreza drivers did it, it raised a smile every time!

As a former land rover defender driver, the proper ones it was a standard reaction, I think it's a great thing to do .

Yes i also agree, always great to know that there are some happy chappies out on the road but not enough, too many road ragers with no courtesy for others, well done forum members.

I always try to flash (the headlights) at other Alphards.  Reciprocal waving and flashing were common when we first got ours in January 2022 but despite seeing more Alphards on the roads, return acknowledgements are happening less now.  Maybe it’s me and people are keeping their heads down 😱😂

I had a White Vellfire flash and wave at me in my Black Vellfire tonight.

I had an Elgrand and a Honda Stepwagn flash at me yesterday. There seems to be more and more about in Wallasey and Birkenhead lately. It seems to be mainly male drivers who wave, but I have had one or two female drivers point and wave  in the last 3 years I've had my AH20 Vellfire. Not being sexist but I think for a lot of women it's  just a mode of transport to move things/kids, etc, rather than a type; think that's a male thing, although my sister can tell me all the different types of VW campers about like hers!!!

As far as im concerned,

KEEP WAVING!!!!
