Hi all,

 

Does anyone know if it’s possible to change the roof light color on a Toyota Alphard 2012? I saw a YouTube video where someone swapped the plug for a blue one, but it was years ago and he said it was custom. If anyone has a link or knows where to get it, please share.

 

If not, how can I disable the current lights and install custom ambient lighting with changeable colors? Has anyone done this before?

If you look on aliexpress (amongst others) you will find plenty of light options. It depends on what you want to achieve. There are ones that stick and others that have a tab to get inserted into the gaps in the trim.

Costly but plugs into original wiring.

Apart from the link above I was wondering if you got anywhere with this one as i'd like to install ambient lighting in my 2010 Vellfire

 

Hi there, i havent got that kit yet, but it is the best way to achieve it. I've tried running EL wire and fibre optics with leds but it's too much hassle for me and the kit to do it properly is the way forward. I will get to it one day!
