Hi there, I’m struggling to get a Bluetooth connection to enable me to hook up my phone to the multimedia system installed in the van. I’ve attached a photo, my instructions are in Japanese so hoping someone has a similar set up.

That unit looks a little too recent to be OEM equipment; nor is it branded.

 

Do you know the make and model ?

 

It is an Erisin ES2712CN, made specifically to fit various Toyota vehicles.

Have you tried the Google translate function on your phone?

We did on our original head unit, and it was VERY useful at enabling us to use its features!

Thanks Smurf, looks like I can obtain the manual from somewhere now you've identified the make and model.

Thanks Nev, looks like it's not OEM so I will need to get the correct manual first.

Original or not, if you can read the words, you'll have a chance of working it out!

We've not got a manual for our original head unit.

Is it OEM or aftermarket ?

Erisin make aftermarket stereos. Some specific vehicle fit, and some generic fit.
