Power door not working

Featured Replies

I have replaced the cable mechanism on the near side door of my 2003 Alphard 3ltr but have now lost power in that door completely.

The offside works fine.

Does anyone know if there is a fuse or relay that could be at fault and if so its location.

If anyone knows where I can locate a circuit diagram that could help.

Thank you in advance.

THere aretwo fuses for fuse for the power doors

Fuse 2 GAUGE, the fuse box is by the drivers seat.

Fuse 15 ECU-IG, the fuse is by the passenger foor well.

However, both these fuses protect more than one circuit.

So I doubt a fuse is the problem.

Have you lost any other functionalities ?

Thank you Rojie.

It is only the near side door and only the window is working.

Everything else on that door does not work.

I read that sometimes the door needs to be reset.

Could that be the case?

On my 2.4l 2005 I have the following fuses on the passenger side:

And these for the drivers side:

So if your cruise control and ABS are working try looking at the engine computer (though I suspect this would be obvious if they weren't working).

I'm inclined to suggest that a connector has worked loose as a side-effect of the cable replacement.

Good luck.

Thank you for your input with my issue.

All connections seem ok and fuses all good.

The passenger side fuses were a challenge ….. lol

I also disconnected the battery and reconnected but after all that the near side door still wont work.

Last question please.

If just by chance the door motor decided to fail at the last moment would that prevent the latches from working too ?

Grasping at straws no,

Thank you again for any input.
