Brake noise

Featured Replies

Why does my brake pedal make a fart type noise when its almost fully depressed?

For a laugh I would say that maybe it needs cheering up and to try telling it a joke, but on a serious answer I would suspect a worn bush, bearing or something where it's rubbing against something it shouldn't.

I sent it into Halfords for a health/brake test they said the disc and pads were almost new plus it had passed its MOT only 5 days earlier having bought it 2 days after. They said they had lubricate something but is still there. I have 2 Alphards and I noticed on my other one when I depress the foot operated handbrake pedal [ not brake pedal ] I can feel resistance as its going down yet the one making the noise the handbrake pedal seems very weak as its depressed until fully depressed.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced a droning noise and wobble at the front when there Alphard reaches a speed around 45-50mph but this only happens when been driven for a while or fully warmed up. The obvious guess of course is wheel balancing or tyres but these have all been done even rotating the wheels back to front and vice versa but its still there. Thers no problem just driving 30-40mph .?
