My 2012 Vellfire suffered the dreaded hybrid battery failure recently and now I’m weighing up the cost of a new hybrid battery vs scrapping it. It’s done 100k miles but apart from the hybrid battery it’s in great condition and with a new battery it would do another 100k, but I’d be looking to sell it on even if I did repair it.

I know nothing about scrapping a car and was wondering how much I could expect to get if I scrapped it? Is there anywhere that would be willing to buy it for parts?
