Hi, I have tried unsuccessfully to stick the latest phone holders and sat nav holders to the dash top all slide off.

Does anyone know a system that does the job? Have started using the windscreen, but I will get stopped

by the police for obstructing one's view....

I'm not affiliated, just sharing what I bought, you can choose the adaptor type to go with the bracket, but I would advice replacing the tape with proper 3M.

Alternatively, you can buy metal brackets that bolt into the grab handle by removing and replacing one of the bolts. This way it is mechanically solid, and did not attach to the windscreen.

I have mine suctioned onto the drivers side window - it has a long arm which brings it close enough to be reachable :-)

Suffice to say there are options - a search on Aliexpress for 'alphard mobile phone holder' shows some designs, including at least one that wirelessly charges the phone in the holder.
