Can anyone recommend a good quality rear facing dash cam? I want to replace my interior view mirror with a screen that continuously projects the rear facing dash cam image. There are various products on the market retailing for around £150 but user reviews are very mixed. Does anyone have actual experience of using this type of camera?

Would that be along the lines of a product for motorhomes?

Standard equipment now on new motorhomes and large delivery van conversions. The 10” screens clip over the existing interior mirror and tend to have a forward facing camera attached. The rear camera is attached to the rear windscreen (or some outside of the vehicle). Better to see what is behind you directly through the rear window rather than through a crowded cab and past two grandchildren sitting on the rear seat 😂

I've seen these on AliExpress, and also blindspot/side cameras that come with two screens you fit to the a pillars, so it's like those new truck digital mirrors

I used a wolfbox dash cam on a previous car, worked quite well, clipped over the existing mirror, considering getting again when funds allow
