Issue with horn

Featured Replies

Garage struggling to find part. Horn not working believe clock issue any ideas on suppliers

I assume that the fuse has been checked, a 12v feed ran direct to the horn to test it and an OBD read doesn't show any relevant codes?

Given that it could be the switch in the steering wheel, the cabling or an earth issue.

I would check amayama.com for the part number(s) you are after and either order from them, which may take a while, or find somewhere more local such as ebay etc.

On mine there looks to be two of them as well - a low and a high tone:

Thanks for this I have forwarded to my mechanic who is working on this

Because of where the horns are located they corrode as do the connectors , check the power supply at the connectors with the horn pressed also the earth point. Replacement horns on Amazon or ebay, just generic two tone horns. Check the fuse and horn relay which are both in the engine bay main fuse/relay box. If you can earth pin 2 on the relay that will bypass the clock spring sounding the horn.
