Rojie
There are lots of threads that discuss the E10 fuel issue. I respectfully suggest you search this site to help you decide whether you need to do anything, and, if so, what.
Ian Y
Chris if it's any help, I have a 2003 alphard and have been using E10 fuel for 1k miles now and all OK so far. This without doing anything to the van. Fingers crossed it stays that way Ian y
MonsterS
So this new fuel roll out on the 2002 - 2008 3L models will actually burn your piston rings and cause clogs. This came from a mechanic who actually contacted Toyota Japan and asked them directly. The only option for us is to use super unleaded. Rojie
Difficult to argue with this ! I need to reread all that NREL info I published before as one of the engines tested was the 1MZ FE engine with no degradation at all.

But i'd rather air on the side of caution rather than an expensive bill for redoing the piston and seals.
