Who does this ??
Alphard Club replied to Bazzer1955's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
lol.. the whole point of using the right foot is so you do not have the foot on the accelerator at the time of braking. Also if its that delayed then that person is driving way too fast. -
Are you sure its the actual sensor? there is a passenger sensor in the front seat that will chime if a passenger is not wearing a belt and that could have a fault that needs a new buckle? Do you get anything on the dash to suggest rear sensor?

Basically when the pad starts to wear down you will hear a a high pitch squeel when braking.
-
Not electronic ones. The pads have a audible wear indicator

We have made some forum alterations to split up the 2 generations of Alphard so we can target more relevancy for members plus the ability to view the members car model under their names. This allows you to understand which Alphard model they are driving. If you have a 20 Series then you can post all your questions related to the 20 series here: https://uk.alphardclub.com/forums/forum/6-toyota-alphard-vellfire-club-forum-2008-2015/ You will also find this available on the front of the forums for easy access.

Toyota Alphard not been serviced for 4 years
Alphard Club replied to mehvish's topic in Toyota Alphard Servicing
Yes. both Proper large dealer groups. -
I have seen 3 types (unfortunatly i dont know the part numbers) 1. Big L Bracket 2. One molded bracket that fitted to the top of the car, looked really neat 3. Magnatic mount,.... bit pants. Seems fiamma do them according to Northstar https://www.facebook.com/Northstarconversions/posts/f45-fiamma-awning-on-toyota-alphard/2459615180758152/

You will also find that the rear sensor will more than likely play up if the vehicle has LPG. Been there. Needs a mechanic with arms to get right up from under the car. Mechanic i had stuck his up up there even with the car still hard.. hard as nails that bloke.

Will other front bumpers fit a 2007
Alphard Club replied to Tonyatco's topic in Toyota Alphard Used Parts & Accessories
what i have found with Toyota is they don't make too much work for themselves. So usually a facelift will have a different bumper style but all the brackets are the same, as well as the patterns, even though the facelift is different, the actual shape of the light fittings are the same. However, i have never tested this so you will need to look for 2006 - Early 2015 -
