  1. Thanks all for your feedback back and wisdom - very much appreciated - After a lot of faff we managed to cross reference some parts and did indeed confirm the part upgrade is from Lexus LS460. Fancy. The Brembo part numbers P83059 should anyone else have the same upgrade Front brakes are next and yes @Nev The disks are deffo vented so likely of the V8 Lexus as well. Thanks again all. f Best Martyn
  2. Was hoping CHAT GPT might be able to find them but keeps going back to standard OEM pads which do not fit.
  3. Yeah - plan to take Exisiting Pads out and measure them etc - Good idea outlining with a pencil 👌
  4. Mechanic suggests I’m gonna need to replace calliper's, carriers and disks to get this sorted which sounds crazy to me - I ll add picks soon as i get them as pads must be available. I ve dug into this more over the weekend and have discovered exactly that Gents, I have Sumitomo re callipers with a part number on the Pads that’s rubbed off. We re gonna strip it down and again and take some measurements. Really dont want to replace everything to replace Pads as brakes work great. I ll share some images on this chat later. Anyone here had pads refurbished as I beleive that’s possible these days although have never had it done. TA M
  5. Having a nightmare sourcing correct Break Pads for my 2010 G edition 3.5 Vellfire. VIN number GGH20-8038699 . Latest set I’ve bought are these which my mechanic believes are also incorrect. Any assistance Welcome Best Martyn

  7. Hey all - Happy Sunday - I ve a damaged alloy from one of many local pot holes it seems and when going to pop the spare on so i can get it repaired have discovered my spare has become a LPG Tank. Should have known that really 😂. Any one got a pair of usable alloys or steals for sale 1st up but if not i can see a loads of space savers for sale on line. While Vellfire specific space savers aren’t coming up loads of Toyota ones are - can anyone confirm what cross overs are or the stud spacing detail for my wagon ? Thanks all
  8. Such a tin or worms - am seeing 'Jap import bars' for £300 plus but pretty sure any roof bar with a 'NO GUTTER' solution will work. Anyone here done the leg work with a Thule solution ? I'm not looking for a cheap solution but don't want to spend silly money for a camping trip twice a year. All knowledge greatly received Thanks Martyn
  9. Just checking in on this thread Nev - Light still comes on but tends to be 'around town' - On a run its fine and yesterday it had and engine light illuminated and today it was fine ? Not especially worried but its annoying
  10. Early reports seem good Nev - will keep you posted but so far so good with CATACLEAN product administered.
  11. Ordered CataClean for now so will let you know Nev and group. The old girl pulls like a train already so looking forward to the results. Best Martyn
  12. Thanks for the response Nev - It does come on when running petrol as well. - Did a 400 mile round trip last week and it ran perfect but the engine light turned on after 300 odd miles - stopped checked and was reporting one bank as running lean. Which is i guess why am asking and a tad concerned
  13. Hey My 2010 3.5 Vellfire has an LPG conversion. Not using it as i want to get it serviced so running 90% of the time on high octain petrol when i can get it. My engine warning light comes on occasionally and the OBDII reader always has the same 2 codes - 'System to lean on Bank 1' and 'System to lean on Bank 2' I ve been told this is happening because of the LPG situation but does anyone have any input, thoughts or experience to share ? Thanks Martyn
  14. I'm two days into my new love affair with my Vellfire and we've hit a bump. I need to de-beep all the doors - I have camping trips booked through the summer and it seems everytime i open the boot the entire campsite will know about it which ain't ideal. pretty sure my neighbours with houses will get annoyed at some point. Question - wheres the beeper and can i hit it with a hammer 😁
