  2. Update, my brother is an electrician and used his multimeter. Turns out it was the speaker itself that has no electricity running through. I will be replacing the speaker and hoping this fixes the issue
  3. Also having this exact problem. Bought our 2007 Alphard in June, Japanese voice on start up everyone, audio from parking sensor box on dash. Since then, Japanese voice has gone - not sure how!? And audio from parking sensor box has gone with it. the lights work, so we just use those to gauge how far away we are from anything. Would be so good to get the audio back though. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks guys
  4. Thanks guys. I’ve just cleaned the MAF sensor. It was dirty, understandable for an older vehicle I guess. It’s nice and clean now so fingers crossed that’s the end of our issues
  5. Hi guys, I'm new to the world of the Alphard. My partner & I purchased ours back in June of this year - love it! We too are having the exact issue described by Alphie though: I've had it diagnosed at two different garages, replaced the Bank 1 Lambda Sensor - EML still coming on. I'm now going to try and clean the MAF sensor and see if I can get any joy from that. Wondering if many other people have had this fault and what other possible fixes I can try? Thanks so much in advance for any help!!!
