  1. I thought as much. Looks great, very functional. I have Captains seats in the middle, they don't swivel and have a more pronounced V. Of course, they provide a twin single bed configuration; which suits us fine (but the dog isn't too keen). So, I am very interested in this solution.
  2. Either way I would consider a RAC or AA inspection. There is a buying guide on the Forum, as Steve notes above. A 2004 will have a 4 speed auto. Many 4 speed owners fit LPG conversions for economy. You have much to read about. Princetown is somewhat 'remote'.; unless you are able to service your own vehicle you will need a competent mechanic. Snows in Plymouth, unlike many official Toyota dealers, will work on any Alphie you subsequently purchase.
  3. Which type of seats do you have in the middle ?
  4. Try Amayama, on the internet. 75461. 75441-58010. About 30 usd. Accessible through a search Toyotaalphardepc.com EMBLEMs.
  5. Just tested search function. Seems OK. As noted above; 3 letter search will not work.
  6. Seems OK now, 6 sections.
  7. Hello, Welcome to the Forum. Have you found a local dealer yet ?
  8. Yes, but only if your have a converted Alphie. I fib !
  9. It is ! But there is nothing in it. Is there anything there if you open it ?
  10. Hi Bryan, Welcome to the Forum. I just put my registration in (2006) and it does not fit. Gen 1 owners please be extra cautious.
  11. Hello Stephen, Welcome to the Forum. Admin, me, have not deleted this but it has been moved to a more appropriate area ! I considered General Chat; but have placed it in the relevant year section. As you have asked several questions, it will be better if the answers do not appear in the Introduction section. Many of your questions have already been discussed in the Forum. So, time for a bit of searching, and a lot of reading ! Happy Camparding.
  12. Unfortunately, the link didn't work for me either.
  13. Hello Woo, Welcome to the Forum.
  14. I don't know about seat covers. Mine are OEM in leather. There are plenty to choose from on ebay (from Japan). There is a service section in this Forum, and alist of common parts. Oil, filters, etc. Other than that I am sure you will get some advice shortly
  15. Hi Laury, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Aplhard ownership. 220bhp @ 5800rpm 8.6km/l (under test conditions). There is a thread on the Forum recording actual consumption by various models. 31 kg/m @ 4400rpm. Nice smooth engine, you will enjoy it.
  16. I don't think it was a joke. Remember what happened in 2011. But you wouldn't want a radioactive van, would you. The Japanese are nothing, if not meticulous and thorough.
  17. I just put mine on the dash; removed my windshield blackout and let the sun bake it flat. Mine is not, and will not be, fixed unless absolutely necessary as I intend to remove during winter
  18. Hello Crawfie, Welcome to the Forum. Is it undersealed ? If not, you would be wise to budget to have it done. Check the MOT history on DVLA, just to be prudent. Which model are you looking at? Depending on the age of your grandchildren; check you have enough seats, seatbelts and/or ISO Fix points. Good Luck.
  19. Sorry to be so pedantic but, Has this .exe file been scanned for viruses ?
  20. If it is the OEM radio, you will be very lucky to receive anything other than radio 2. (Which is OK for many of us!)
  21. Hello Sue, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. Hopefully you will soon receive some replies that sort the issue.
  22. Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. You could try your local Toyota dealer, although most are not interested in grey imports. There is always Toyota Direct too. Try searching this Forum, as there is an increasing number of spares part numbers being listed in the section for your model.
  23. Hello J88J, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. I expect you will get several replies. It is very unlikely you can change the headunit language. The GPS will not work. The Japanese system is different to the UK one. The radio is unlikely to work either. Different frequencies ! Try searching for Head Unit replacement, or Radio replacement, on this Forum. There are several headunits, and companies that fit them. Just be careful you don't lose the steering controls or cameras (if you have them). McGuard will probably be able to supply locking wheel nuts. Ensure the nuts have the correct profile for the wheels you have fitted.
  24. Yes, I agree with this too. I don't want to add any height to my van. At present I can park in all my local car parks. Add more than 5 cms (or so) and I won't be able to.
  25. Hi Pritch, Please try and post some photos. There are lots of members, including myself, considering fitting an awning.
