  1. hi David this airflow sensor is a common problem not just on alphards and there are vids on you yube on how to clean them with a common spirit so try that first.Dave
  2. hi Shawn I live in Devon and I can tell our local Toyota dealer service mine for approx £230 so be careful there are a lot of people out there who will rip you off the best advice is to ask around and get a local garage to do it for you after all its just a car and most of the parts you will ever need are shared with many other make and models out there including Lexus Nissan Toyota vans even ford so don't take notice of all that crap and there are also many good breakers out there for the unusual parts you may need .Dave
  3. hi TJW I already own one the same model as yours and I can tell I've done a lot of research into this over the last few months and I can tell you at the moment it can be done on some units but if your car has all whistles and bells like mine ,lane guidance ,sonar, park assist front and rear cameras ,blue tooth ,multi media , DVD multi changer , mini disc so the best way to look at it is if it was easy and cheap to do it would be on the front page of this web site so my advice is look at what you really find useful to keep and look into changing the radio with a new front panel for about £ 400 and you get all media stuff, sat nav blue tooth phone rear camera also the industry is changing so fast who knows anything is possible.Dave ps one thing I can tell you the car will be amazing it will make you smile every time you use it and I'm a few months ahead of you in ownership so I'm to share my experience with anyone if it helps
