  2. my dealer when i bought it just stuck a bit of black tape on k so it shows at top m/h and where it runs p in kilometers it now clocks up in miles this is done with a chip fitted behind the dash its called a ckun09 chip and they are about £55.00 dont buy the cheap Chinese ones
  3. i needed rear shocks springs and spring mounts total cost of parts all new was £380.00
  4. my alphard when i bought it had a mot on it .reason for putting back to standard was mainly because of speed bumps and pot holes the vehicle was far to low for our roads

  15. Sounds like you blown a fuse do you have a English alphard handbook for fuse locations
  16. Could be power steering belt slipping
  17. Could be a warning your key fob battery needs changing

Hello katt don't get put off the toyota alphard is a bullet proof engine if it's been fully serviced only buy from a dealer if they specialise in imports I notice your Ipswich if your able to travel to Norwich you have got Andy who is andys Imports who all he does is alphards if you want his contact details pm me and I will give you them.

P0171 is front lamba sensor or maf sensor not gearbox it's a fuel air ratio problem I would personally change maf sensor first as I have had same problem with my 3.0 also chuck in a bottle of cat cleaner in the fuel and give it a good blast on the motorway I have been adding cat cleaner now once a month and not had any problems since .
  21. I would have the rack checked there are 4 bushes pressed in to the rack these are common to fail on the earlier alphards that would give you lot of play in the rack

  23. I think they got something jamed in the gear linkage when the had the face off to do the radio
  24. Is the little black button still located where gear change is
