  1. The beep beep noise is most probably a high temperature warning. Your fridge is either too warm or the sensor is faulty.
  2. Yes, lub but not with grease. Light oil, silicon spray 👍
  3. Rail or cable. You will need to inspect both to find the issue. DON’T apply grease to the rail as suggested as this will attract dirt and in no time will make it much worse.
  4. You can’t is the short answer. You have to fit roof rails inside the C rail. The VW Caddy XLWB rails fit the Alphard.
  5. It can very between cars so the best thing to do is when the light comes on fill the tank. It’s a 70ltr tank so you will then know what’s the difference. I work on the basis that once the light comes on I need to refill within 20 miles.
  6. Without EHU you are trying to achieve something difficult. For heating you should be looking to use gas or diesel and for cooking old fashion hob cooking or gas oven.
  7. It is the key with the back removed. The new one does have the transponder chip, the same as the main key. I think the pre facelift version does not have the transponder chip. Thanks for your reply
  8. I have bought a spare key, uncut and not programmed. Can anybody tell me the process for reprogramming. I have tried the process on the earlier (not facelift) model and it doesn’t work. Thank you
  9. Just to clarify the handbrake requirements for manual and automatic for mot and legal are identical. If your handbrake isn’t holding when depressed then it’s faulty and needs repairing. As handbrakes on automatics are usually used less often than a manual the brake friction lining can become more brittle. You could try applying the parking brake when driving (in a straight line) for about 30 seconds, then sometime later see if the parking brake works more efficiently.
