  1. Hi, Out of the blue my right side mirror has started making a constant noise. Sounds like the motor that retracts the motor is stuck open. I guess it will need replacing but in the meantime I believe I can just disconnect the wires, only problem is out on the 10 or so on the plug I am not sure which are the mirror retraction ones, anyone know?

  3. Thanks you. One point of clarification, is this definitely the same on the hybrid model?
  4. Hi All, wondering if someone can help a novice, where on earth do I find the fuse box on the hybrid that has the fuse for the cigarette lighter? Cheers
  5. So /i sorted out a better code reader which picked up the O2 sensor but absolutely nothing else. Does anyone have any recommendations on people to service an Alphard Hybrid, ideally in the south-east but I'll go pretty much anywhere to get this sorted. Advice gratefully received.
  6. Hi I did do this with a code reader and got no codes but it is a really basic machine. Do you have a recommendation for a code reader that's best for an Alphard by any chance?
  7. Hi All, I have a 2004 Alphard hybrid, which I have had for 4 years and never missed a beat. However, recently it has developed and issue where the traction alarm randomly seems to go off when putting slight pressure on the steering left or right. Has anyone come across anything like this? I did a bit of research and found some reference to the solenoids in the steering rack but also another on something wrong with the hybrid batteries. If anyone has any advice and specifically if anyone recommend somebody who knows there stuff serving an Alphard and specifically a hybrid and ideally in or near Kent I would be eternally grateful! Thanks.
  8. Help! I have a 2004 Alphard hybrid, which I have had for 4 years and never missed a beat. However, I think one of the batteries has an issue and it needs a hybrid service. It has also developed and issue where the traction alarm randomly seems to go off when turning slightly. Have been told it may be the solenoids in the steering rack or linked to a failing hybrid battery. Can anyone recommend a somebody who knows there stuff serving an Alphard and specifically a hybrid and ideally in or near Kent? Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the response. Getting hold of a code reader to see if (hopefully) it clears.
  10. A couple of days ago my Alphard Hybrid would not start as I’d left the internal light on. Charged it up and it started but drove rather strangely, lacking power. Anyway, drove it on a very short run today and it seemed fine but a red car warning light with a red exclamation mark (all very scary) has come on. Anyone know what this is/what to do? All help appreciated
