  1. That's great information thank you πŸ‘πŸ‘
  2. Hello Graham We have a dog cage that is lined with dog beds. The entrance door is at the back beside the tailgate so they jump into the cage and don't touch the carpets at all. The cage has a blanket draped over it so any shaking does not spray anywhere other than the blanket. Rum is safe and clean....and the hounds are very happy πŸ˜πŸ‘
  3. It's worse if reverse parked and there's a pavement height .....getting the dogs in and out of their cage has resulted in a couple of head knocks.....but it's safer for getting the dogs out when parked that way.
  4. Thanks Roger....I'll see what I can find. They do open to theur extremity but was hoping for something else that would just give that little bit more room. I'll keep the group updated if I source anything
  5. I'd it possible to get slightly longer rods for the tailgate to open up a little bit higher.....away from head height
  6. Hello Michael I got it from the AliExpress app. There are many types available with many outlets for putting light strips in different places like doors or even the roof. Still working out where I can put more as I have an 8m length and a total of 6 light outlets.
  7. Hello Michael the strip has a flat edge that is pushed into gaps/joins in the dashboard
  8. Also fitted a strip of LED lighting on the dashboard 😁
  9. I managed to get the trim off the pillar and there was a loose connection to the light. Refitted and all working fine again.
  10. Hi Roger it's the rear driver side pillar light that isn't working
  11. Hi Clive, It's the lights that shine up from the pillars and have 4 brightness settings. One is out and needs a bulb change
  12. Has anyone done a room light change on their Alphard?
  13. New set of screen covers arrived today 😁
  14. First weekend trip with "Rum" went very well. Took our 2 fur babies with us and it worked out better than we could have imagined. The Outdoor Revolution Cayman Combo Air was pitched really easily and definitely a good purchase for us as it's where the dogs slept very happily together.
  15. The lap strap is a single strap coming up from the side of the seat....up and over your lap with no shoulder strap attached
  16. It is indeed the single rear fog light that's been added by the dealer.
  17. I've sent you a private message with some details πŸ‘
  18. I'll check that more closely today thank you
  19. I'll check that out this morning.....never thought of that either
  20. Completely agree there has to be a relation to it...and could simply be just an illumination. πŸ‘
  21. I tried that but I have a separate buttons for front and rear fogs
  22. This rocker button on the right side of the steering wheel on the dashboard comes on when the headlights are turned on. Turning this off or on doesn't seem to do anything related to the lights. Any ideas?
  23. We named our van "Rum" after the small scottish island. Rum has had some graphics added to the side and they were the inspiration for the name as it looks like the silhouette of the island. Today we had the bonnet wrapped by Clyde Wraps(Vehicle Graphics) and couldn't be happier. First camping trip is this coming weekend 😁
  24. I was advised to be very careful about what is towed because alphards have not been rated for towing and don't have a code on the VIN that insurance companies ask about if there have been any claims due to a towing incident. I'd definitely appreciate any input on this as I've had a tow bar fitted for taking my motorbike trailer
  25. I think the seats will be rear facing a majority of the time.....and love that the 2 seats at the rear fold flat then up against the sides to create a huge space for our dog cage.....a huge bonus we were kof aware of till we picked it up and had it demonstrated to us by the dealer.
