  1. I'm now hoping our new van HAS one....will find out at the end of this month πŸ˜„
  2. When you're only pausing not parking of course πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„
  3. If we do end up having one on the van and once I am sitting in the driver's seat - and I'm really excited about that - I'll see what the deal is and what can or can't be seen with it. πŸ˜„πŸ€”
  4. Thanks Rojie, I'll find out at the end of the month if our van has one of them still fitted. They certainly look odd anyway that's for sure
  5. I'm at work offshore India and have not seen our Alphard up close and personal yet but will when i get back home on the 30th of this month then pick up the van on the 2nd April. Cycle mirror certainly makes sense right enough.
  6. Not picking up our Alphard until the 2nd April but wondering what this is circled in the photo.
  7. That's absolutely brilliant information. thank you for sharing it.
  8. Auchtermuchty in Fife, Scotland. Car imported by Fantastic Campervans, Daisie, Fife.
  9. That's great thanks Geralt....much appreciated
  10. Thank you Graeme.....much appreciated
  11. I just had a quick look online and it appears the 2003 to 2007 shapes/sizes are the same so should be ok.
  12. Thanks Geralt, much appreciated.
  13. Hi Geralt, any measurement that will follow the contour of the bonnet to get an accurate length and width for the graphics designer to be able to place the design squarely on the bonnet and sent me a draft of what it will look like for approval. The important one is at the red line as there is a central piece to fit on the bonnet and needs the measurement to be able to place it better.
  14. We have not taken delivery of our Alphard yet and having a vinyl wrap designed for the bonnet. I've been asked for measurements of the bonnet. I've attached a picture and need the length of the blue line and the depth of the red line. Thanks in advance for any help on this. At work on a survey ship offshore India and unable to get measurements.
  15. Looking at the photos it's heavy duty suction cups with the rail screwed down onto them.
  16. that's great information thanks Mike.....we have 3 dogs so that information on the moisture absorbing crystals is very useful indeed too
  17. Where have you been sourcing the dash covers from?
  18. Oh i didn't mean clean the glass with the white spirits just the blades to remove anything that had got on like grease. Meths is definitely the better option right enough πŸ‘
  19. It sounds like something has got onto the wiper blades and smeared the screen but vinegar isn't the right solution for removal from the blades. White spirit on a cloth to clean the rubber could be worth a try and thoroughly clean the windscreen before trying the wipers again.
  20. Plates arrived....just need the Alphard now πŸ˜ƒ Pick up is on the 3rd April. Will post photos when we get it home.
  21. That is absolutely brilliant. Thank you for posting the photos it makes it so much easier to see how it was done rather than just reading text on it. Amazing just how well the pop top hides the rail. Ill be sure to follow your example it's exactly what i needed to see.
  22. Excellent...looking forward to seeing the photos
  23. Thank you Starider I appreciate the help
  24. It does look like the first photo with the van and the top box actually has the awning tunnel secured to the van in various locations like the wing mirror and front grille. It doesn't look attached to a rail at all in that photo.
  25. I'll keep my eyes peeled and get back to you if i see anything relating to roof rails fixed on vans with C rails
