  1. I’m installing a heater in my camper and I’m keen to know how others have found it. What’s required in terms of sockets ti get the fuel tank off, can it be done around the exhaust etc. where did you mount the heater, run ducting and install your vents. Any issues or things you would have done differently? thanks!
  2. Hi all 👋, I’ve just purchased my first alphard, had some previous experience with imports but this is the first family friendly one I’ve got. Baby on the way!!!! we purchased ours already converted with a rear kitchen and pop top. We looked at loads of side conversions and they defo have more space for cooking, preparing etc. and storage BUT! At the cost of a rock and roll bed. I’ve done loads of pressing on them and the crash testing and the mot compliance and what the difference is and basically I don’t think I can get comfortable with he idea of strapping my baby in his seat to the rock and roll bed, not only is it really far away from the front seats but something is telling me not to do it. So we went for a rear conversion and the middle row of seats left in. which means we have three seats that spin round to form a seating area for all of us with room to spare! And then the bottom coverts to a bed for 2 then pop up has space for another 2. So perfect for our small but frowning family at the moment. I don’t think we could find a more suitable layout for such a young family, and with the added bonus of isofix on the middle seats it’s a win win. I hope you find what your looking for!
  3. Amazing! That’s exactly what I’m after. Good man, thank you
  4. I’ve been wonder about all of the above for our camper, this is all great to know. The bike rack on the tow bar is something I had thought about but wasn’t convinced on but that looks like a great solution.
  5. Good morning all this is my first post here. Just purchased my first alphard and would like to gather up a bulb kit so I’ve got spares for the road. I can’t for the life of me find any information on the bulb types for each application, even Halfords don’t list the bulb types. im hoping one of you boffins can guide me in the direction of some off the shelf bulbs that fit these majestic wagons. it’s a 2007 alphard, all own light boxes, not concerned about interior lighting or instrument backlights or anything like that just the usual, indicator, main beam, side light, brake light, and tail if they’re separate and as an added bonus possibly a number plate bulb. thanks I’m advance, Ryan
