  1. Hi I am selling my 2004 Alphard V. It is a 2004 2.4 with 54108km (33621mls). This may go up by a 100 or so as I use it to commute. The mot is until October 2024 (advisory free). Kenwood dab radio fitted with Apple play and Android auto. Everything works and the van drives great. It has had a rear camper conversion in late 2022 and a pop top professionally installed in June 2023. Possibly won’t be to everyone’s liking as I have a single bed fitted along with a memory foam mattress as I am a solo traveller. It is possible to sleep a second person in the top on the bed boards provided. Has a mini fridge, twoogas bottles, electric hook up and extra storage under the bed. It really is a nice tidy van inside and out, has a few age related marks but no damage or rust. I am asking £12995 but if interested please give me a call on 07510193917 come take a look and see what you think. Vehicle is based in Essex.
  2. Hi all I’m currently on the Isle of Wight having a pop top fitted by Northstar and I’m amazed at how many Alphards are on the island. Would appear there is a big following for these here. Where I live I’ve only seen two near me. Even got waved at by another owner here which made me smile. Looking forward to the meet in July see you all there.
  3. Hi this may have been asked before but does anybody know which kind of awning rail I best for my Alphie, magnetic or permanently attached. I am considering buying a drive away awning. Any advice gratefully appreciated.
  4. Thanks I will. Have ordered the curtains and once they are fitted hopefully I will be on my way.
  5. Hi tHanks yes I will fit them myself just need to order them now asap so I can get out and start to enjoy the van.
  6. Hi thanks for the info, my 2004 Alphard has the pop studs for the tie backs but no rails. I may just bite the bullet and get them from jap autos as I like the idea of having the factory look.
  7. No there are no rails I can only think it never had them fitted.
  8. Hi my 2004 Alphard conversion didn’t come with curtains and I was hoping that someone could give me some advice. I have seen some online from Jap autos in Southampton but they are a bit pricey. Does anyone know a cheaper diy way that I could use to fit either curtains or blinds. Thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks for your help and advice i think its rime to make a shopping list I’ll let you know how I get on.
  10. Hi Roger the centre row is still in place and the floor is carpeted I don’t have a dog but my moggy used to travel with us and I’m hoping to take her with me. I haven’t thought about travelling in winter but it is something I may consider. One other thing is there any kind of cooking implements that maybe you have found useful, and also is it worth considering an awning. Thanks for your help so far.
  11. Hi sorry not to have replied sooner. I will probably be visiting the Cotswolds and the south coast to start probably on a site.I have absolutely nothing so I will be starting from scratch, the Alphie has a rear conversion with sink hob and coolbox. My problem is that after having a twin axle caravan where space wasn’t a problem I now need to rethink what I need and how much I can take with me.
  12. Hi having just purchased an Alphard with rear conversion I was hoping that fellow members could help with what essential’s they would recommend that I would need. I am a solo camper. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  13. Thank you, just need to sort out what essentials I’m going to need to equip the van for touring. Any advice from members would be greatly appreciated.
