  1. Aftermarket systems are out there pivot make a aftermarket cruise control and I imagine that they make a starter motor as well! I know the genuine starter can be programmed in with a good diagnostic programmer!
  2. Great read... will adjust mine tommorrow!
  3. Yeah this man knows! The micro switch in Your remote is stuck in! The battery will be flat in a hour you may have to strip it right down and before you replace the battery just heat the button up a little! it will either fail or come free!
  4. The immobiliser chip doesn’t run off power - it runs off a magnetic pulse coming from around your ignition it’s a invisible hand shake that happens every time you start the car! Sounds like you either lost your chip Mir timpsons damaged it when taking your key apart (very common)
  5. He is very very good 😂😂😂 a Elgrand and import expert! £160 is for a genuine key compete but can do a more modern key with a more modern style for £140 roughly that orice ice is pretty inline with all other cars in the road. www.autolockmaster.co.uk
  6. The above procedure is programming the remote (remote central locking) and not the transponder chip that allows the car to start! Separate things - 1. chip (electric handshake) 2. key blade cut (the physical twist lock 3. Remote central locking
  7. Or go to a autolocksmith he can programme a new key and remote with a much better style... like these flip keys! Not cheap at £145 but inline with all other cars and much much cheaper then losing all of your keys!
