It's interesting when it's the different grille with no badge, as it leaves others wondering what the vehicle is, more so than the one with the badge. Obviously when the rear Toyota, Alphard, or Vellfire badge is seen it gives it away. So I wouldn't be surprised if some owners debadge their vehicles to maintain an air of mystery.

Hi I have heard there can be an issue with buying a JDM vehicle regarding the antifreeze needing to be changed. Apparently it doesn't meet the specification required for our road/weather conditions & needs to be changed. Has anyone else heard about this?

By inspection I mean one of us casting a very very detailed critical eye looking for a known fault. As opposed to a MOT tester who might not be aware of this particular issue, & therefore possibly miss it.

Hi Craig Thanks for documenting this it's a very interesting & useful post. As it clearly shows the known fault with the bushes, where they are, & how to do it. Are they easy to see if someone is looking around a vehicle? So that if an inspection is carried out on a vehicle, it would be noticeable if they had been changed.

Hi I wonder if someone can help me with an answer regarding warning lights. If a 2008 Vellfire has a 4 X 4 icon on the instrument/display, is that on every Alphard/Vellfire? So when it actually is a 4 X 4 it lights up, & otherwise does not if it's only two wheel drive.
