  1. Awesome Chris. That was what I needed. Can't find it on Ali Express, may have to change the search terms, but the car audio place is reasonable at 99
  2. Hi there. It's a Toyota 55900-58290. Thanks
  3. Hi, Paul. I was trying it at 70 on the motorway. But a further twist : now fully working! I can only think it was the various battery disconnects I was shooting to reset the power tailgate. After an afternoon of this , reset doors open, again when closed, etc etc, I took it to work, and thought to try the cruise again : all working. Tried it again today : still working. Think I engaged at 50 today : no problem. Will try at lower when I can.

  5. Hello, all. Apologies in advance. I have looked through as many rear camera and stereo wiring threads as I can, but still not found this info : where is the rear camera coming into the head unit? I have attached a pic of my head unit connections. I have read references to people tapping in to the video as it reaches the park assist ecu ( under passenger seat?) what does it become after this, after the Dynamic steering overlay is added? I have the 18 speaker system, and have bought a "Tesla" style android unit, with a fibre box adaptor. Not arrived yet. After a protracted discussion with the seller on Ali Express, he has confirmed all will work, including the roof monitor, but not the rear camera. I was hoping to tap into the feed (nearer the head unit the better) adding 6v for power if I have to. Thanks to several stereo versions, I can't seem to get the exact info for mine. If by chance one of you had the same stereo and did a similar upgrade, would love to know if the rear camera worked, and how/ where you tap into it
  6. You may have lucked out. That connector with the 4 wires, red/black/yellow/white should be it. Red is power to the camera, and it's 6v, not 12. Get a Stepdown from eBay, wire into an ignition line. Black is gnd. Yellow and white are video + and -. Can't remember which way round. My estima was the same. Reason why I say you have lucked out is that I have just bought a 2010 vellfire, with dynamic steering overlay. The video does not go directly to the head unit, but via the park assist ecu and where the guide lines are added. I believe you can tap into it at this point and then use that feed as video in for aftermarket units, but can't find the info anywhere yet
  7. Hi everyone. Just purchased a 360Z G-edition 2010 vellfire yesterday. Super happy with it and the garage : Phil and Matt are good guys at Gastech Warrington. It does have a handful of issues however : cruise control icon in green comes on when I press the stalk switch, but will not set. Also, does not show "radar ready" on dash. Googled, and found a YouTube vid that said push away from you ( ie cancel) for more than 4 seconds to switch between normal and adaptive cruise. No joy. Still won't 'set'. Might just be the stalk switch. Next up : power tailgate. Opens, either from fob or button at front. Won't close. I get that 3/4 seconds long beep instead, so familiar from the estima I had that meant something wasn't right. Again, Google : press and hold the open/close button for more than 4 seconds to reset .Did that with the boot button. Got a short beep but after that it's the same. So fob and button up front open it normally. Fob, button up front, button on the tailgate won't shut it, just a long beep. Any ideas?!! I have a handful of other things to sort, eg stereo replacement, but thought I'd kick off with these!
