  1. The hybrid vehicles have computer controlled throttles so you can't rev them like normal cable operated throttles.
  2. Hi Colin, I have had my front tyres done last year, Avon 205/65R16C,think they cost £120 each from my local garage for last year's MOT and this year replaced the other two with Lassa 205/65R16C cost £110 each. Think these are van tyres and there is no problem with road noise. Hope this is of help.
  3. I have had a similar problem with my hybrid alphard in the past 3 years and have had to replace the battery twice. I checked the battery and there was a parasitic drain however was unable to get to the problem as it seemed to fix itself after I fitted a new battery. I have decided that the problem may be due to the conversion with added appliances like the fridge.i just take the van for a long run every couple of weeks or disconnect the battery if it stands for longer.
  4. Yes,I would be interested in joining a day with other Alphard owners and would be great to talk to other owners about their Alphards.A convoy would be fun and being able to camp would be an advantage as travelling from the North. Try as I may to keep the interior tidy it never seems to happen so exterior inspections welcome.
