  1. I insured through Adrian Flux as they seemed okay, had an accident (not my fault) 3 weeks ago, the local repair in Dumfries who the company use can't fix the Alphard for lots of reasons can't get parts, it is evident they don't want to repair as they cannot give me details of parts that need fixing. Both the garage and the insurers are giving me the run around and are not at all helpful. Just saying! If I get a result I will let everyone know if they are in my opinion any good.
  2. Hi Abdul, I asked the company Amayama trading , simply put in reg number and they came back with part numbers within hours. I haven't ordered yet as I need to add to the parts once the mechanics tell me all that they need. But there are recommendations for this company, might be worth a shot. Paul w
  3. I have trouble getting anyone to work on my Alphard, it's just been damaged by another driver , no one wants to work on it as they "can't get the parts " . Insurance says they will offer CIL but this doesn't help as I can't move the van and anyway the amount is an insult. I need to get it to a garage close to Dumfries and Galloway so I too are looking for someone who wants to do it in this area. If I find someone then I will let you know, in the meantime any suggestions are welcome.
  4. Hi, The issue was raised in 2015 and I believe it related to lots of Alphard , ours is 2004 but the company importer didn't check to see if the issue was resolved that's Campervanco. The recall wasn't picked up by them and it was difficult to find but when we read it sounded pretty serious; the passenger airbag had a fault that meant fragments of metal were likely to be ejected from the airbag should it be deployed. I have raised this with Japan and they are supposed to be getting the local dealer to sort, watch this space ! I will try and find the recall and post it for you to see. Take care

  6. Hi everyone, We bought our hybrid from Campervanco in Denny near Edinburgh, paid a substantial amount for it and discovered a recall issue on airbags which they didn't know about!! Although we discovered it through another dealer (thanks Matt) the van runs well now we have changed the steering rack no other significant issues but response is lame considering we paid 30 grand for it, we were disappointed. Their workshop looked pretty good and the sales appeared efficient but lacks follow up I am afraid. Don't be duped
  7. Got a Alphard Eco pioneer that has been converted SL04ZUY bought it a few months ago but not going to get use out of it as situation has changed. It drives great 40 plus miles to gallon good condition photos available. I paid over price for it but my loss could be your gain.
