To get the steering wheel controls working you can replace your current wiring with Connect2 Adaptor https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373176086232 It's all based on the sockets, simply plug in... 30minutes DIY.

Auto unlock
Here is another link to another package for different version including video https://mega.nz/file/p5UwhbpL#uX8uBg4TGeYUtQQRU5ZBz5Q9LswlrxrhwfXYAYyUzS0 Unfortunately Techstream is getting updated reasonably fast, some of the links may stop working after a while As far as I remember the most stable versions are for Windows 7 and you need to install cable driver first before the software however all this info should be attached in installation notes. Read first and follow the steps as each installation will be different. All depends how the licence was cracked by the owner. Good Luck!

Auto unlock
You can download and install Techstream for free without any issues. Downloaded version need to be compatible with your PC OS Version and you need to get Mini-VCI J2534 cable which you can easilly find on Ebay. For the correct software version search OBD forums such as http://blog.obdii365.com/tag/toyota-techstream/ (or other )and Youtube videos (there are plenty of them). One small problem is that versions are not equal regarding the features so this part can be tricky.... depends on your needs 😉

Toyota Alphard Recall in the UK - Takata Airbag Recall
Indeed, this was taken from my report. I believe there is no obligation for Toyota to inform MLIT again after recalls are resolved. Here is the history section.

Headlight self levelling warning light.
Should be behind the wheel, top right corner.
-
Dash light
This is "Discharge headlight auto levelling warning light", it could be a sensor issue or a leveling bar issue itself. Try to clean them both as it may be simply dirt which is causing them to operate.

Petrol heaters
I can only compare to my quote for Gas Propex Heater which was just under £1.5k all in (approx 2.5 times price of the heater itself). I would suggest to check the brand and model of the heater to have an idea how much is the heater itself.

passenger side door remains locked when ignition is turned off, how to fix?
Your doors locks should close and open to confirm programming, it's tricky to get it right. Have a look on the below video. Another option is to use Techstream- Toyota software(available to download online) and switch the door autolocking when driving to OFF completely.

E10 Fuel compatibility.
3.0 Alphards should use Super Premium Unleaded 97/98RON, however there are some members here with 3.0 running on E5 Premium Unleaded (old standard Unleaded 94/95RON).

Alphard v Vellfire
Both of them have sporty trims, S in Alphard and Z in Vellfire. I believe the main difference between them two is the price... expect to pay more for Vellfire and fuel efficiency is lower in Vellfires. From the build quality, trims and interior gadgets you can't go wrong with either.
