  1. Hi, I bought it through trade in early 2019 (From Windsor) I can get all the details to advertise it for sale, just wanted to get some thoughts on the best way to go about doing it, knowing it will take someone who knows what they are looking at to identify what's going on. Thanks for leaving my thread live for now.
  2. We want to sell our 2006 Alphard, where do I sell it? It has a néw MOT but has a knocking sound s Coming from under the bonnet somewhere, we have put so much money into it, with a new head gasket etc that we just don't want to put anymore in to it now. Don't want to get mugged off, but appreciate there is some fault with it that we don't know what is.
  3. This saga is not ending, the garage sent the engine block off to reverse repaired, they have put it back together and have now found the radiator has a crack in it. They have quoted me £500 to replace this now. Along with the £1750 they are charging me for the head / engine repair? Any thoughts on whether this is reasonable? Thanks all
  4. Hi, Unfortunately the head gasket went on our Alphard beginning of December. The garage has had it until now and phoned me today to say they have received the redipped head back now and can't fit it due to the thread on the block being seized. They are now telling me I need a new engine. The engine they apparently have managed to find only holds a 30 day warranty aswell. Any advice or thoughts please? Struggling as dont know anything about engines so feel like we are being taken for a ride. Thanks
