Curtacy light

Hi is their anyone who has had the front curtacy lights not go out fully when front doors closed locked ,will dimm but not go out,rear ones fine ,not got them turned on at moment as don't want a flat battery ,I'm going to check earth's on pillers of doors ,but anyone had this and corrected it,if so how ? Thanks for any input

Hello Mick,

 

Which courtesy light are you referring to ?

I ask as there are several.

I assume you are referring to the light cluster near the rear view mirror.

Hi thanks for your reply,I think I may have sorted it or its working for now,I turned the small dial on the tachometer from full on anticlockwise from full so dash lights a little dimmer ,also jiggling the door switches either side ,they go out now ,will keep a close eye on that,and yes it's the lights at rear view mirror thanks for your response
