VellfireKat Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Hi this is really helpful. I’ve just ordered a Vellfire - it will be a number of months but looking to understand what I can expect in insurance costs. Thank you for the pinned suggestions and chats. They’re years old but still super helpful.

Just Richard Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I have had a 3lt Alhard for 4 years and has been insured with Aviva all that time - last year was £365, which is for 68 year old male, 15 years NCB, living in a very quiet area (often referred to as God's Waiting Room!)

I was with Aviva until mine had a had a conversion. I am with them on other vehicles. I insure a Ford and a Jaguar XJR little more than your quote. Worth a call but unlikely to insure a camper.

Sorry Saga byeeee Insurance prices should be decreasing (a little). Your premium with Admiral is OK, but somewhat higher than many in these pages. The Saga price is extremely silly. When i was with Saga there were multiple benefits with respect to overseas travel, but nothing that warrants that extraordinary quote.
Paul w Posted Sunday at 11:52 AM Posted Sunday at 11:52 AM I insured through Adrian Flux as they seemed okay, had an accident (not my fault) 3 weeks ago, the local repair in Dumfries who the company use can't fix the Alphard for lots of reasons can't get parts, it is evident they don't want to repair as they cannot give me details of parts that need fixing. Both the garage and the insurers are giving me the run around and are not at all helpful. Just saying! If I get a result I will let everyone know if they are in my opinion any good.
